It’s no surprise that Pakistan is quite taken with it’s latest import, ‘Diriliş: Ertuğrul’. The Turkish drama series has been all the rage in Pakistan since the moment it started being aired on Pakistan Television with Urdu dubbing on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The show become popular in Pakistan to an extent that Pakistanis are admiring its cast more than their local actors.
Not only are people hardcore fans of the show, but they are absolutely in love with the cast of the show as well — the two most famous being the lead actors, Engin Altan Duzyatan who is playing Ertugrul Ghazi and Esra Bilgic, playing the role of Halime Sultan.
Seeing their popularity among the people,Peshawar Zalmi head honcho Javed Afridi is thinking about making the lead actors of the actors of Dirilis Ertugrul brand ambassadors for its franchise.
The Peshawar Zalmi chairman insinuated the possibility of Engin Altan Düzyatan – the main lead of the show – of being appointed as the team’s brand ambassador in an earlier tweet.
In his tweet, Javed Afridi ought fans’ opinions about making an offer to Halime Sultan (Esra Bilgic) to join the Zalmi family as a brand ambassador.
Earlier before, he also asked fans if he should sign Ertughul Ghazi (Engin Altan Duzyatan, the actor who played his role), as the brand ambassador of Peshawar Zalmi.
While responding to Javed Afridi’s tweet, the Turkish actress wrote,
“I will be sharing some good news with you soon.”
Thrilled with the hints, people on social media heavily to the post, supporting the decision.

Some however, worried about Esra Bilgic being moral policed after becoming brand ambassador if she did.
But thankfully there were still those who wanted the focus to be on the game and the players.

Esra Bilgic has already announced that she wants to visit Pakistan. Replying to one of the comments on her Instagram, she wrote, “I would like to say thank you will all my heart for your precious compliments. Your support makes me really happy.”
“I’m waiting excitedly to meet you all in Pakistan after this period. Take good care of yourself. Stay in peace and health,” she added.
If she joins the Peshawar Zalmi, the ratting of the team would soar to a great extent. There will be immense followers of the team many may even leave supporting their favorites teams in order to support Peshawar Zalmi just for Halime Sultan.
