Jokes apart, having Pashtun parents might be strict at times but don’t they always wish the best for us? They will go to far flung areas, spend their lives away from their families to support their loved ones; so there’s that. They think with their point of view whereas children have their own perspective. In some cases, we see desi parents unnecessarily interfering in the lives of their children. Generation gap is a thing in our households, that’s a fact that our parents need to sink in.
